Unveiled Women CIC is a registered Community Interest Company committed to supporting women facing a range of life challenges. We create safe, supportive spaces where women can connect, rebuild confidence, access practical guidance and take positive steps towards greater wellbeing and independence.
We believe that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard and valued. Through peer support, community connection, wellbeing activities and personal development opportunities, we support women to rediscover their strength, rebuild their lives and move forward with confidence.
Meet Our Founder Marcia Mendes
Marcia Mendes is the founder of Unveiled Women CIC, a women-centred Community Interest Company committed to creating safe, supportive spaces where women can feel seen, heard and empowered.
With a strong background in supporting people and understanding the importance of dignity, respect, confidentiality and person-centred care, Marcia is passionate about helping women navigate difficult periods in their lives. Her experience has equipped her with the ability to listen with empathy, understand individual needs and support people in a way that respects their circumstances and personal journey.
Marcia brings together strong organisational, communication and people-focused skills, enabling her to develop practical initiatives that promote wellbeing, confidence, independence and positive change. She understands that women facing challenges often need more than one form of support, which is why her vision for Unveiled Women CIC is centred around seeing and supporting the whole woman.
Through Unveiled Women CIC, Marcia is committed to creating opportunities for women to connect, rebuild confidence, develop new skills and access the guidance and support they need to move forward.

We Create Safe and Supportive Spaces
At Unveiled Women CIC, we believe that every woman’s journey is unique. We do not define women by the challenges they face or the experiences they have been through. Instead, we take a whole-person approach, recognising that wellbeing, family, finances, confidence, relationships and life experiences can all be connected.
We listen first, creating a safe and non-judgemental space where women can feel heard and understood. Through peer support, practical guidance, community connection and opportunities for personal development, we support women to take positive steps forward at their own pace.
Our approach is built on dignity, understanding, connection and empowerment—because we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to rebuild, rediscover her strength and create a future she feels hopeful about.
